I went to the Dr. again this week. ...Good grief that seems to be all we do. That's OK though we are just getting it all in before our insurance changes at the beginning of the year. Anyway, went in and stood at the check-in desk. Just stood there. I've have been going to the same office since I was 12 yrs old, they know me by name. However they still require that you state your name and which Dr. you will be seeing. I just stood there, trying to figure out why I could not remember my own name! Minutes went by and the line behind me grew. Sweat was now pouring out of my body like a waterfall. Finally I said I'm sorry I cant remember my name. All the ladies behind the desk chuckled and said how wonderful it was that such things don't just happen to old people. I was thinking FABULOUS! What am I gonna do when I'm old? if i cant even remember my own name now! Grace came to my rescue. MOM!
That's it I thought, breathing a huge sigh of relief my name is mom! No, no, no, that's not right. Grace started again... "mom your name is Holland and you are here to see Dr. Donna." Oh yes that's it. Grace may have helped in the depleting of my brain cells but she was there to back me up when my brain appears to be vacant of any cells. Suffice to say I have never had a shorter visit in the waiting room. Even when I dislocated my knee or fractured my elbow. I guess if you have completely lost it, they want you out of there as quickly as possible.
Suspicions were quickly affirmed, when I went back to see the Dr. She confirmed that indeed we were having another baby! Due July 2ND. We got pictures today I will post them later. Its a wonder they even let pregnant mommies drive.
