Oops! I am notorious for doing the same thing. Usually it is rice that I burned so it's not as bad as a roast. :(

Oh NO!!
A few weeks ago, I was on the computer downstairs and didn't hear my potatoes boiling over on the stove (and subsequently ALL OVER THE FLOOR!) Starch, burned starch EVERYwhere!
My condolences on your dinner... :( -
