Geoff has been crazy busy at work as well as attempting to cram a semesters worth of school into a single week. To say the least things have not been the same around here. We are doing our best to cope without his jovial presence. However my attempts to wrestle and tickle the girls with my "monster face" is met with a boring yawn. Mom you're not the same! I argue that I'm the better "monster" but they don't even nibble at that bait, only roll their eyes and sigh as if to say your are just a lame knock off. Only dad can kiss and comfort hurt feelings, mom has at this point become completely obsolete, well at least until they are hungry or need clean underwear.
As "my" girls waved goodbye to their father this morning, Amia piped up with the urgency of a dying request, Dad, when is your next day off that you don't ever have to go back to work? Yes, that's my girl! Guilt trip Bonanza! I am still recovering from the fact that he was able to continue on to work after such a gem as that.

Lame knock off
